By the way,
Rhubarb originates from the Himalayas and was imported from Central Asia in the 11th century for the preparation of medicines. In the 16th century, it was cultivated in Russia and then reached other parts of Europe in the 18th century. The first commercial cultivation in Germany took place in 1848.
