As the name suggests, cold brew teas are teas that are brewed with cold water. Coffee fans will already be familiar with this process. However, this is a relatively new drink for tea lovers. Besides iced tea, cold brew tea is a refreshing way to enjoy tea on hot summer days and an interesting alternative soft drink.

Cold brew tea is not made the way tea is usually brewed, i.e. not with hot but with cold water. Unlike tea brewed with hot water, the tea leaf, herb and fruit extracts are released into the water much slower in cold brew teas, which have to be left to brew for around 15 minutes to allow the flavours to develop even more intensively. Cold brew tea therefore has a more intensive and different flavour. Another advantage: you can control the intensity and sweetness yourself by simply adding more water or leaving it to brew longer. The three varieties are also vegan and do not contain any preservatives.
