Product development

Our manager himself is responsible for the development of the products. Pharmacist Georg Kroll and his team are always looking for new, interesting ingredients. He uses his many journeys to identify current trends and to be inspired by the taste and smell of food. The enthusiasm for roasted almonds at a christmas market for example has led to the Florapharm tea “Gingerbread House”.

 

 

The ideas come from customers as well as from suppliers. When tea components are considered to be interesting, pharmacists, food technologists and biologists at Florapharm clarify the pharmacological background. It is also tested if there are any contaminations. Only absolute safe ingredients can be used for Florapharm components.

 

For pharmacists of Florapharm, it is a matter of course that tea components that contribute to the well-being of tea lovers play an important role regarding the development of new tea recipes.

To meet the newest requirements of the consumers, we use natural aromas when developing new teas, respectively we dispense completely with the aromatization of teas. For teas with exclusively natural aromas we have built its own production rail.
